From 2V to 4V Twin Turbo Build
This 2002 Mustang GT chronicles a complete transformation from a 2V mod motor to a precision 4V-headed twin-turbo powerhouse, featuring Livernois-ported heads, custom TDR 6162 turbos (later 6265), and a fabricated Bell intercooler designed to achieve 1200+ RWHP. The build includes a Teksid short block with custom Gibtec pistons, King bearings, and blueprint-tight tolerances, along with extensive stainless steel fabrication throughout the fuel and water systems. A 4L80E transmission swap and custom shifter mechanics complete the package to handle 35+ PSI of boost while maintaining street-friendly drivability and low-RPM torque.
